Alkaline Protease

Optimized for mash diets and mild pelleting temperatures.

Activity Definition

One Alkaline protease activity unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme which releases 1.0 μg tyrosine from casein in 1 min at 40℃ , pH7.2.

Appearance

Dark brown powder

Acticvity

30,000~100,000 U/g

Shelf Life & Storage

25℃ , 12 months.

Function

1. Supplement endogenous protease in the small intestine under neutral–alkaline pH, improving overall protein breakdown
2. Hydrolyze heat-damaged and resistant peptide bonds, increasing digestible amino acid release from soybean meal, rapeseed meal, DDGS and animal proteins
3. Reduce undigested protein flow to the hindgut, lowering diarrhea risk, ammonia formation and pathogenic bacterial overgrowth
4. Allow reformulation with lower crude protein levels while maintaining digestible amino acid supply, thus reducing feed cost

Dosage

100~200 g/MT Complete Feed. (30,000 U/g)
