Activity Definition
One α-Galactosidase activity unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme which degrades 20 mM of p-Nitrophenol α-D- galactopyranose solution to liberate 1 μmol of p-Nitrophenol in 1 min at 37℃ and pH5.5.
